Woodcrest Christian School - Gym - Riverside, CA

Woodcrest Christian School has been serving Southern California's Inland Empire with "Christ-Centered Academics" since 1948. At the center of the High School and Middle School campus is the Charles O. White - Royals Pavilion. Built in 1997, the original center cluster sound system never really met the needs of the many events that the school had in the gym. Soon it was only used for games and barely passable for that. The staff eventually purchased a Martin CDD-Live 15 portable system. After years of set up and tear down for weekly chapels and a wide variety of events, Vantage Pro was asked to design and install a permanent Martin CDD sound system that would cover the bleachers as well as the "seating area" on the court for chapels and events when the stage was on one end. 

To make the system as flexible as possible, Vantage Pro installed a Symetrix Prism 8x8 Dante controller with Wi-Fi controllable web GUI's so staff and faculty can operate the system with a phone or tablet. With Shure QLX-D wireless hand-held mics that can also be controlled by the GUI, there is no need to plug in a mixer for most uses. In input/output panel allows the team to use an external mixer as well as adding ground based Martin Powered Subwoofers. 

The system can be used in a variety of configurations including Games, Chapel, Home Side Only, Center Stage Only, or Theatre Mode. Other equipment in the system include Luxel Network switching, RF Venue Antenna Distribution, and LEA 4 Channel Amplifiers.
